Vijay Paliwal is the Vice President of Customer Care and Midmark India for Midmark Corporation and serves on the Midmark Executive Team. He is responsible for all Customer Experience and Technical Support functions as well as Midmark’s delivery and installation services business in the U.S. He also oversees the business of Midmark India, Midmark Corporation’s India subsidiary and has been on the Board of Midmark India since 2010.
Mr. Paliwal joined Midmark in 2007 as the Global Head of Corporate Development, and was responsible for the execution of the company’s external organic and inorganic strategy. This included target identification, valuation, due-diligence, transaction structure and definitive agreement negotiations as well as integration planning support for medical, dental, animal health and imaging divisions on a global basis. In 2012, he relocated to Mumbai where he served as Managing Director, Midmark India, and Vice President, Midmark Corporation, until 2016. Previously, Mr. Paliwal held positions within mergers and acquisitions and financial planning at Limited Brands and Sprint Corporation. Mr. Paliwal is an active angel investor through Indian Angels Network, one of the world’s largest angel investing groups. He has mentored several start-up CEOs through IAN, and youth entrepreneurs through YEA! (Young Entrepreneurs Academy) in India. He also led Midmark India’s engagement with Corporate Social Responsibility projects.
Mr. Paliwal received his MBA in finance from Oklahoma State University, Master’s in Marketing and Bachelor’s in Business from S.P. University, Anand, India. He is also an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
