Assistant Vice President of Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing,
Shizuka Suzuki leads the Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing team at AT&T Communications, which includes industry-leading partnerships across numerous sports and entertainment verticals.
She and her team develop on-site activations and social-digital engagements that bring fans closer to their passion for sports, entertainment and communities. These include working with leagues like the NBA, WNBA, U.S. Soccer and the NCAA; events like the Tribeca Film Festival, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the AT&T Byron Nelson, College Football Playoffs and NCAA Final Four.
Previously, Ms. Suzuki held a wide range of roles across AT&T, including managing call centers and leading construction crews. She was instrumental in the delivery of the company’s first web-based cloud product and in designing industry-leading offers in the pricing and analytics organization for AT&T’s largest corporate clients. She was also the chief of staff to the SVP of Brand, Advertising, Media and Sponsorships and has supported the Chairman and CEO of AT&T.
She has received numerous accolades including the Asian MBA Global Emerging Leaders Award, Cynopsis Top Women in Sports 2019, the Women of Color STEM Magazine’s Technology Rising Stars award, AT&T Best of the Best Awards, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Ms. Suzuki holds a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science from UCLA and an MBA from Pepperdine University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Peter, and rescue dog, Bella.
