Phillip Han is a managing director at Goldman Sachs, and is the co-chair emeritus of the Firmwide Asian Professionals Network (APN). He has served in this role for three years and during his tenure, the APN launched inaugural events such as Celebrate Asia! and a firmwide APN townhall.
At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Han is head of Futures, Derivatives Clearing Services and Clearing Sales in the Americas and global head of Quantitative Services Sales. Previously, he was on the Prime Brokerage Sales team in New York. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2008 as a vice president in Global Securities Services and was named managing director in 2013. Previously, he worked at Lehman Brothers in New York on the Prime Services Origination team and at Wells Fargo in San Francisco. At APN, under Mr. Han’s leadership, GS launched the firmwide presentation skills bootcamp, from which over 100 professionals have graduated over the last six years. Moreover, he has been responsible for connecting the GS community with such notable Asian talent as NBA star Jeremy Lin and tennis Grand Slam champion Michael Chang, as well as many leaders internal to the firm, to share their perspectives on Asian success.
Mr. Han has served on the Board of Trustees at the Portledge School in Locust Valley, New York. He earned a BBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
