KJ Dhaliwal is the Founder & President/ CEO of Dil Mil, the largest and fastest growing matchmaking app for South Asians across the world. The company aims to disrupt the broken arranged marriage model by solving privacy & quality concerns by utilizing technologies such as video and virtual reality. Dil Mil has made over a million matches and raised over $2.7M from prolific investors such as Transmedia Capital, Naval Ravikant, Will Bunker (ex-President of Match.com), Rich Nelson (former Managing Director for M&A at IAC), Maiden Lane, CSC Group, 500 Startups, and more.
Prior to Dil Mil, KJ led growth at Union Metrics, one of the leading social data analytics companies in the world. 75% of the top PR firms and 60% of Interbrand’s global top 100 brands use Union Metrics. He was also the Co-Founder and Partner at Finantric Capital, an investment fund with a 96.22% realized return. KJ’s career spans across numerous professional experiences including Risk Advisory Services at McGladrey, Private Wealth Management at SEI Investments, Financial Products at PNC, and Equity Options Trading at World Trade Securities Group. While his career started on Wall Street, he was always involved with side projects that eventually led him to make the move to San Francisco, as he decided to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship. KJ has started several business in the past with Dil Mil being the most successful to date.
In addition to being an accomplished business professional, KJ loves to dance and was on the Drexel University Bhangra Dance Team, a leading competitive collegiate dance team. He also helps organize Startup & Tech Mixer, one of the largest technology events in San Francisco, bringing together entrepreneurs, engineers, corporate professionals, and investors. In his free time he likes to give back by mentoring entrepreneurs and helping them turn their ideas into businesses.
