Vice President, Network and Shared Services Technical Solutions Management, AT&T
Chee Ching is Vice President, Network and Shared Services Technical Solutions Management at AT&T Services. She supports AT&T’s Network Technology Planning and Engineering, Operations Centers, Field Services, Global Connection Management, and Chief Data Office, by scoping and architecting tech dev solutions, testing and managing the delivery end to end.
Ms. Ching started her career at AT&T in 1995 as a Network Management System Engineer supporting AT&T’s TDM voice network. She moved from Labs to Operations in 1998 to create AT&T’s Global Network Operations Center in Bedminster, NJ, which was unveiled in 2000, after which Ms. Ching was promoted to District Manager. During her tenure at AT&T, she held various GM positions. In 2013, Ms. Ching was awarded the Outstanding Technical Contribution- Industry Award by Women of Color STEM Conference for her contributions in Network Management and Performance Management solutions and innovations. She was then promoted to Assistant Vice President responsible for delivering Mobility Tooling, Network Performance Management, Capacity Management and Network Testing capabilities. Prior to AT&T, Ms. Ching was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Decision & Information Systems, College of Business, Arizona State University.
Ms. Ching is an active mentor of several individuals and small groups, focusing on developing future leaders. She is involved in several corporate employee affiliation groups. Ms. Ching earned her PhD in Management Information Systems from Purdue University with a Minor in Computer Science. Married with two daughters, Ms. Ching and her family live in Plano, Texas.
