Caron Ng is CEO of NU-SET Inc., a trusted global lock manufacturing division formed to develop pioneering safety products and digitally transform her family’s third-generation business empire. She blends a history of industry expertise with visionary thinking in order to lead the only woman-owned lock manufacturer in the U.S. Her foresight to adapt legacy systems of the lock hardware industry is set to position her company’s innovations at the forefront of the Internet of Things technology-revolution and redefine how we “secure”.
Ms. Ng has been recognized as a 2017 “Enterprising Women of the Year” out of 100 global entrepreneurs by Enterprise Women magazine. In 2016, she was nominated as “Executive of the Year” at the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Annual Women’s Summit and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Asian Business Leader”. Having been mentored by great leaders, she has been a mentor for aspiring women entrepreneurs through the WBENC-West Los Angeles Leadership Forum. In addition, she serves on the Enterprising Women’s magazine advisory board and the 2018 steering committee for The Women Presidents’ Organization, Inc. For over 20 years her family has supported Guide Dogs for the Blind. Guide Dogs provided the ability for Ms. Ng’s sister to graduate with her at University of California, Berkeley, continue her Harvard post graduate degree and now work in the Pentagon. Another passion close to her heart is Breast Cancer awareness, due to the battle and win against breast cancer by her mother.
Ms. Ng graduated from the English Department at the UC Berkeley, and was on track to become a United Nations interpreter until she answered the call to help the family business. She has participated in numerous corporate business training programs.
