Ajay Anand is a Senior Partner at EY, working with some of the most well-known technology clients. He has 25 years of experience leading the development of strategies for revenue growth, managing complex transformations and enabling innovation for large global companies. In his current role, he manages high-profile client relationships and oversees all of the work that EY does for them globally. Mr. Anand’s teams consist of over 2,000 professionals working in more than 80 countries, spanning consulting, accounting, tax and transaction services. He was previously the founder and leader of EY’s Performance Improvement Program Management services for the West Region.


Prior to joining EY, Mr. Anand was Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for venture-funded technology startups. He has also held management positions at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and BellSouth in sales, marketing, strategy and engineering. He currently serves on EY’s Global Diversity and Inclusiveness Steering Committee and is responsible for leading the strategy and efforts to enhance EY’s inclusive culture across the globe. He is also the partner sponsor for the Aspiring Directors workshop, which aims to increase the representation of Asians on public company boards. He previously served as the Co-Chair of EY’s Americas Steering Committee for Pan-Asian professionals and as a member of EY’s Americas Inclusiveness Council. Additionally, Mr. Anand currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern California chapter of Ascend, the largest professional nonprofit for Pan Asian-Americans, where he also served as President from 2013 to 2016. He also serves on the Asia Society Northern California Board of Advisors.


Mr. Anand holds a Bachelors’ and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. A first-generation immigrant from India, he resides in the Silicon Valley with his wife and three sons.
